KaBOOM! is a national non-profit organization with the goal of providing a great place for every child in America to play within walking distance. It seems like such a simple thing: volunteers collaborating to build playspaces for kids. Surprisingly though, it’s a lot of work to find ways to unite businesses and community interests, even if it is for a good cause like improving public playspaces, or creating skate parks, sports fields and ice rinks. So why do does KaBoom! go to the trouble? For the kids of course. It's important to give them places to play outdoors. And provide playspaces for kids who live in underdeveloped neighborhoods, where often there has never been a place for them to run around and just be kids. A young organization, KaBOOM! would like to continue to enrich the lives of kids across the country. But they need your help. So hop, skip or jump on over to www.kaboom.org.
