When people need help, we give them a lift. There are not many organizations like this one. Angel Flight® America provides free flights of hope and healing for people in need, transporting patients and their families in small, private airplanes to specialized medical treatment facilities. We also arrange free flights in the event of a national crisis or whenever there’s a compelling human need. In the year 2005, Angel Flight® America arranged more than 18,000 flights through its members, a corps of over 7,200 pilots and outreach volunteers from all 50 states. But with a flight taking off on average every 30 minutes, they need your help to keep this project flying high and making sure new initiatives get off the ground.
