Humane Society of the United States
Nearly ten million members and constituents strong, The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) works to defend the interests of animals everywhere. The nation’s largest and most powerful animal protection organization, The HSUS celebrates and advocates the human-animal bond and fights animal cruelty and abuse in all of its forms. As you may already be aware, The HSUS coordinates with state and federal government agencies and local animal sheltering and animal control groups during disasters to rescue, rehabilitate, reunite or find new homes for animals that have been injured and abandoned. Working to reduce suffering and to create meaningful social change for animals, HSUS advocates public policies to protect animals, investigates cruelty and helps educate the public about important animal issues. By visiting www.hsus.org, find out what you can do to help. Don’t almost give. Give.
