National Low Income Housing Coalition
Many families are only a step away from being homeless because they can’t afford to live where they need to live. It shouldn’t be a problem, but it is. Communities everywhere are simply not providing enough affordable housing for the growing population of people who need it. The National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC) is dedicated to ending this low-cost housing emergency in America. How? By educating people about this situation, by educating lawmakers and by being loud and making sure our message is heard. The NLIHC is committed to being an influential advocate for this segment of our population who is literally at risk of being put out in the cold. And we could use your help. What can you do? Educate yourself, and then educate others. Donate your time and help us organize. Or simply make a tax-deductible donation. But whatever you do, don’t almost give. Give. Stop by www.nlihc.org today and help.
